When the morning sun hits the sea through an underwater opening, the entire Blue Cave glows in an electric blue light — a natural phenomenon that's even more magical in person. This full-day tour takes you there.
Your skipper will time the visit for the best light and smallest crowds, then guide you to quiet swimming spots and hidden coves on the way back. It's our longest and most adventurous route — Biševo is ~25 nautical miles from Hvar — so we use our most powerful RIB speedboats for a fast, stable ride across open sea.
This tour involves several hours on open sea in a fast RIB speedboat. While our skippers are experienced and the boats are built for comfort, the sea between Hvar and Biševo can be choppy at times.
Not recommended for:
If you're unsure, our Red Rocks & Pakleni Islands tour stays in calmer waters closer to Hvar and is suitable for all ages.
10:00
We pick you up at Šetalište Put Križa 3 (near the fisherman statue) or at your Hvar waterfront location. After a quick safety briefing, we head south towards the island of Vis.
~10:45
Our first stop is a stunning sea cave you can enter by swimming or on a small motorboat. The sunlight filtering through the water creates an incredible emerald glow inside.
~11:30
Voted Europe’s most beautiful beach in 2016 by European Best Destinations. A dramatic narrow cove flanked by towering cliffs — perfect for swimming and photos.
~12:30
The main highlight of the tour. You buy tickets at the dock, receive a queue number, and a small Port Authority boat takes you inside the cave. When the sun enters, it creates a breathtaking blue glow on the water.
~14:00
Choose your adventure: visit the Monk Seals Cave, swim in the Green Lagoon on Budikovac, explore sandy beaches like Stončica or Smokova, see the military submarine tunnel from former Yugoslavia, or stroll through the towns of Vis or Komiža.
~15:30
A perfect lunch stop with several waterfront restaurants, a popular beach bar, great swimming, and a botanical garden to explore.
~17:00
Our final swim stop before heading home. Recognised by The Guardian among the 40 most beautiful beaches in Europe for 2022.
~18:00
We drop you back at your pickup point in Hvar town, full of sun and memories.
These are the main stops — but your skipper also knows hidden coves and local favourites off the beaten path. The route is fully flexible, so feel free to linger, skip, or ask to be surprised.

Blue Cave
Blue Cave on Biševo island is one of the most beautiful natural attractions in Croatia, famous for its magical blue glow.

Green Cave
Green Cave on island Ravnik reflects stunning emerald light through a hole in its ceiling — a must-see near Vis.

Stiniva beach
Stiniva is a spectacular collapsed cave bay on Vis — only 4–5 meters wide at its entrance, accessible by boat then a short swim.

Palmižana beach
Palmižana is probably the most known and popular place on the Pakleni islands, located on the largest island Sveti Klement.

Mlini beach
Mlini beach is one of our favorites on Pakleni islands — a beautiful beach with crystal clear sea in a stunning green color.
